I was engag6to a Khmer girl and her parents escaped the khmer rouge so my ex and her siblings grew up here. I spent a lot of time around the family and was exposed to a ton of Khmer culture and find it really amazing. I'd love to help khmer people learn English anytime they would want to try and learn or practice it. It would be great for cambodia to become even more successful or prosperous with the youth getting better education

I completely agree with them, and this will encourage Cambodian youth to learn what comes to their lives in practice, especially in Asian Community.

Hi, I am a Cambodian-American who recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Higher Education at USC. I would love the opportunity to work with our Cambodian youth and help with their academic success....How can I get in touch with Higher Education in Cambodia?

Don't forget to get bachelor degree in entrepreneur and inventor so you can teach khmer kids to become great businesses people, thousands and thousands of khmer people has no jobs so entrepreneur and businesses is great for them to study and open small business.

Being an ex born Cambodian, who is now living overseas but still love and being proud of Cambodia, I am so happy to see that the only international language of which the the English language stands for (with small variations amongst English speaking countries from UK USA Canada Australia to New Zealand etc…) to the Cambodian Youth ! From my own personal experience, from using Khmer language and English language in my life, living amongst the people of the world, I have discovered with sadness that the Khmer language could no longer meet and serve my new experience of life as a now non-Cambodian but a person of the world and now ending up thinking and writing and speaking English all the time. I can speak Khmer language, but I cannot speak Khmer in term of Philology or Sciences or Philosophy or Psychology or Physics or Quantum Physic or Maths or Astronomy etc… to my heart desire, for the Khmer language lacks a great deal of the vocabulary for these fields, I am afraid !

It is quite common to use borrowed words of science for example medical lingo is still Latin-Greek based, but most sciences and research papers are published in English. However, I totally agree that Cambodians should be proud of their own language as well.

@@oakstrong1 Thank you, words are windows to the great wide world for our mind to experience such as philosophy, poetry et cetera, peculiar to our species Homo Sapien Sapien, us, Cambodians should be able to think and imagine beyond our current Buddhistic believe system and the many fairy tales of our history so far told and believe into the more objective of the reality and of Truth into Wisdom of the Aryan Khemara, but with such a capacity that our current Khmer Language could provide that is not at the moment possible and I am not surprised that most of our beloved Cambodians refuse point blank to have anything to do with anything or ideas which exist beyond the border of Cambodia and everything they do must always be traditional and Tradition is rules which bind the mind and keep it as its prisoner...

You have missed a trick here: without subtitles, this video is preaching to the choir! If you want to advertise your institution and get new students whose English proficiency is low, this video will not reach them as it is.
