To be fair to soucek, almost all of his goals last season came from when Antonio was injured. He rarely scored when Antonio was playing and I think that’s because we don’t 'need’ his goals as much so I’m not surprised he hasn’t scored as much

I think the Connolly for Brighton is pretty fair , he has scored 2 this season in a cup game but as a brighton fan who watches him a lot he’s genuinely a decent sttriker my concern with him is that’s he’s quite lazy and doesn’t really run the same way the rest of the Brighton team and so I’d say he’s more of a disappointment. As a Liverpool fan I think there's was a much more obvious pick than Robbo, and that has to be Thiago. Whilst it's not a decline in terms of his liverpool career, which has been pretty much the same, the credibility this man's name holds in terms of experience, talent and success is immense..he's played alongside the best players in the world, in the best teams in the world, under the best managers in the world. Everyone knows what Thiago is capable of, he's won everything there is to win in football and yet for Liverpool he barely even makes selection, and when he does its mediocre at best. Just very disappointing, and definitely a decline compared to the last stage of his career. Someone of his ability should get picked without thinking, to dictate and win games and yet he hasn't stepped up to the plate at all

Nah, Pepe is at the decline. Leno is dropped because Ramsdale has good distribution and is crucial in Arteta's style of play from the back. But Leno is still a top shot stopping GK. Robbo is still defensively spot on and in the recent matches i have noticed that are majority of attacks are happening from the right side and opposition teams are attacking the spaces in our right side of defence because Trent is a weak link in the back 4. Due to this right side overload maybe Robertson isn't getting noticed a lot. Last season he was our best and most consistent player. I do believe as compared to other left backs in the world he is defencively the best and his workrate is phenomenal. Robertson is really underappreciated.

Comments about Cantwell show a complete lack of understanding of how Daniel Farke managed. Any player who has a slight personality in the dressing room has been given the same shit treatment other examples are Hoolahan, Oliveira, Buendia. It’s not his fault of course but he hasn’t played enough football to say that he has declined after only starting a few games which were against the toughest opponents in the league and out on the left which isn’t really his favoured area. When he has played he has looked to be the creative midfielder we know but because of this dispute it means he has been dropped. Only playing for the U23s cuz he lacked match fitness after being dropped and i reckon Farke was going to bring him back as he’s the exact player we need to give us more chance of scoring goals. He will definitely feature more often with new management. The obvious answer to the question for me is Kieran Dowell. Had a great finish to last season but in his last appearances has done nothing in either of the games 👍🏻
