I think the numbers on the back of the garments, could have been a modern take on old school haute couture shows ( back in the 40's and 50's) where models held cards to identify the outfits, that's what I could come up with

As we know, Thom Browne incorporates street style with classical construction. This is a reimagined opera coat for the start wear person. A new classicism

Also the entire collection seems to be a okay on the 1950's, where letterman jackets, poodle skirts, and opera singing were at their modern popularity.

@@bigell91 I have never really thought that his clothing/brand as street style or from any of his collections being inspired by street style or influence ( but I plan on going back and watch a few past shows to see). I (personally) always thought his clothing was more fantasy and dreams more than anything else. Watching his shows either for men or women I often times don't really get, it seems that the fantasy takes over. But the clothes are well made and beautiful as well. What would really shock and be forward thinking would be when he removes all the fantasy and all of the "stuff" he normally does, and start showing designs and presentations more accessible
