Greetings from Canada, Thom. I only just subscribed to your songwriters channel. "SAND IN HER SHOES" is the first song of yours that I've heard that I know of. Strong melody, descriptive lyrics and tells a story. I've been writing melodies with lyrics in my spare time for about 40 years. I've never taken it further than that as I'm not a musician. I couldn't resist letting you know, though, that one of my earliest works was entitled "SAND IN MY SHOES." The title was the only similarity to your song, though. But that similarity is inspirational to me in that I can now boast that great minds think alike. So there's hope for me yet. That's all that I wanted to say really. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos and hearing your songs
