Thom Yorke explained what it’s like to feel trapped in your mind AMAZINGLY! Especially for how the world viewed mental issues like depression back then. He was 100% right about the fact that you can’t escape it. You just can’t. We can’t just “cheer up”

She asked questions that did not probe him or his band. In other interviews Thom can be very closed off and refusing to answer questions or give short "No" answers and won't go any further. He does not talk about the band or himself.

it is 90ish type of Music Television. I miss when Much Music was doing amazing things like this. I found out that Thom Yorke really likes her and she interviewed him a ton of times when she was working at Much Music. actually I heard she was the only person he'd let interview her haha. maybe the reason why Radiohead was all over Much Music when I was a kid was because of her. :D she's my new hero in life as of today. sorry this was completely unrelated to what you said haha. :)

It's really cool, I've heard a lot of musicians like John mayer and other pop musicians try to put philisophical meaning behind their music and it didn't sound at all realistic, and it sounded pompous, like they were trying to be more than they were, but with Thom it seems totally believable.

@wulord Good point. The Kid A/Amnesiac era is so mind-numbingly rich with philosophical meaning, it's almost too much to answer a question like "what does amnesiac reference?" without it sounding fragmented. So, Thom answers with a deceptively simple, "timing".
