Thom's just a beacon of inspiration who never ceases to delight my deepest senses. And as many have experienced, sometimes his work takes time to grow on me---other times, it hits home on contact. Still, determinedly traveling to reach an uncertain destination, all for the hope of obtaining what is deemed unsure for the traveller to come across. Curious to see how this fits into the film. Before I looked up the plot, I would have attached this to some sort of psychological thriller. It reminds me of classical horror, suspense, and mystery. Really excited to listen to the rest of this score and see the movie.
