Remember the first time I heard this on 6 music. Radio was on quietly in the background in the office and this was one of those songs that made me stop everything I was doing within the first 10 seconds and just listen in awe. Just when you think Thom Yorke surely must have used up all the possible chord progressions that have this effect, he pulls out another one.

This is a waltz thinking about our bodies What they mean for our salvation With only the clothes that we stand up in Just the ground on which we stand Is the darkness ours to take? Bathed in lightness, bathed in heat All is well, as long as we keep spinning Here and now, dancing behind a wall When the old songs and laughter we do Are forgiven always and never been true When I arrive, will you come and find me? Or in a crowd, be one of them? Wore the wrong sign back beside her Know tomorrow's at peace

I took one too many iron tablets due to a faulty prescription and my head and vision were spinning in circles for a week. As I stargazed I'd have to wait for my vision to be stable, the right sky transcending the way it did in my head was both euphoric and scary. One such blurry night, when I waited for my head to settle and noticed something moving even after everything was stable. I attach a place, person or thing to each shooting star I see and this song is what was playing in my head that night and will forever remind me of my fourth shooting star. Beautiful and mysterious composition, Thom Yorke.

Mesmerizing. Only Radiohead / Yorke can put dissonant notes like this together to make such a hauntingly beautiful melody (reminds me of their Exit song for the Romeo and Juliet OST).

A bit late to your comment, but I can't let it get away without telling you this was so well said I'm envious. Hope you get around to reading this and are able to take this unusual compliment from someone who has never given it before and probably never will again.
