In watching your playthroughs, I think you might have mixed up the DW and Tama's. When it says you're playing the DW, the wings nuts and tilters on the cymbal stands are Tama's - and when it lists you are playing the Tama's the wing nuts and the cymbal tilters are those of DW.

Yeah, I agree with what you are saying. The DW's and Tama's were definitely switched on accident.

@@spencerboyum6086 I purchase the Tama hardware pack and they are fantastic...they hold up great under normal playing and I also got the Tama stand weights for extra stability when playing the heavier stuff...and still lighter than packing up regular hardware.

I've tried them all. Yamaha H3 Crosstown aluminum hardware is the absolute best. Very stable and extremely light. The DW light hardware felt very unstable and cheap.

The DW uses plastic on the clamps - and its twice the cost of the Tama Classic set. You're probably right about the Yamaha - but I went for the Tama to get flatbase stands, it was a close call between Yamaha and Tama - again, the Yamaha is more costly, but not too much so,.

I like the Yammies, the matte aluminium looks really cool too.

they scratch quite a lot. Especially if you attach a tom-tom clamp onto them

Can’t beat my Axis aluminum stands. They weight around 1kg per stand. 💪🏼

Wow that Tama Classic hi-hat stand is really swaying… Thanks for the demo! I think I’ll go with the single-braced Iron Cobra 200 hi-hat stand instead since it’s only 1 lb. heavier!

mind the fact they switched dw and tama in captions, so the swelling tama might be actually the dw ☝

DW the best, it hardly moved. They also make lightweight boom stands.

Lighter is better but once you’re on the moon it doesn’t really matter. Getting here more weight = exponential fuel cost increases.

DW, always overpriced. I would prefer the yamaha because not flat based and cool aluminium base.
