In my mind the BEOD is the best pedal you can buy if you want high gain but don’t want to get it from the amps preamp, not to mention everything else Dave makes, all of which is amazing. The man doesn’t miss, and clearly is a man of character. What a gift to the guitar playing world.

Friedman is a Mad scientist of tube amps. He keeps coming up with what players want and pushing the boundaries. There is good reason he is one of the hottest guitar amp mfg's today. I wonder if this Jose amp will come in the IR Pedal format. Altogether this amp is a Wonderful tribute.

The BE is based on Dave’s 50 watt plexi with more gain. It lacks the clipping diodes, although you could get close
