Richard is an incredible player and he and Slash really work well together, he may not be a household name like Slash is but he is just as talented and seems like a really cool guy. That second Scalla (spell?) Les Paul he plugged is awesome.

Richard is more the MAIN gutarist
@BatByte827 жыл бұрын
Pek Vek He's rhythm guitar with the occasional lead just like Izzy and Gilby. No such thing as 'main' There are lead parts, fill, rhythm, additional etc. No one is main. One guitar on a song is one colour in a painting. Part of the whole picture. He's playing Izzy's parts on all the AFD, Lies and Illusion stuff as did Gilby.

Gotta say, I really like the current lineup of Guns N' Roses. (Even though I'm still not sure what Melissa is doing). Fortus and Slash are really playing well together. All we need is Adler back and it would be golden

Matt ,Steve could never do it . Melissa does backing sound ,keys,, background vocals
@jjbast2 жыл бұрын
I was gonna say, the drums are weak. Melissa is useless, Dizzy Reed is the herpes GnR could never get rid off. But Fortus is great! Love seeing him play solos.
@zaynekvam9404 Жыл бұрын
@@jjbast Melisa is great, guns n roses uses a lot more background effects/backing tracks than most would probably realize, she also helps Axl a lot with his higher backing vocals which definitely fills it out nicely live. And nothing against Dizzy, hes a great pianist. Frank is unfortunately nothing to write home about, seems like a cool guy though.
@jjbast Жыл бұрын
@zaynekvam9404 She is useless with her DJ setup. During UYI, Guns had backing vocals who were actual musicians. Remember Roberta?

What I'm really interested in is how he's changed his rig over his years with GN'R - he's played with some guitarists who have very different tones (Finck, Ashba, Buckethead, Slash, Bumblefoot) - so how has he changed his tone to work alongside theirs?

What's the difference between Gretsch and other conventional guitars like Gibson or Fender? What aspect of their tone sets them apart? I've always been curious about this brand but I think it might be better to play it safe and get a strat which is what I'm used to playing.
