Yes, there are expensive, but: it’s a great investment! And they’re magic. I’m playing for almost 50 years now, owning various brands and I’m just swapping my Taylor for a Martin. Martin simply has an unparalleled unique sound. Period. Thx for the explanation.

Sir, great video and fun to watch. I have a OO-18 and love it. Great guitar, I wanted to mention when you showed the OM-21 you forgot to explain the difference in the pick guard over the others as well. No big deal but it’s one of the first things you see right! It’s tear drop, and that shape of guard usually de-notes an OM model.

One of the best videos I've seen on Martin Guitars 🎸, very interesting, love all the models, everyone has their favorite and mine would be the D-18, just personal preference, but all of the guitars sound great, starting with 0-18, awesome players, can tell they love to play, they brought the best out of the guitar on every solo, enjoyed this video, MARTIN GUITAR ONE OF THE BEST!

Some of the comments about the current cost of Martin's Standard series is telling. No surprise that Eastman are carving big chunks out of the market, by building handmade yet affordable instruments inspired by all the classics.

That smallest Martin Guitar is what I have of my Daddy's, it's a 1926 Martin!!! Very old, needs playing bad. I really don't know that much in a Guitar!! Wow, thanks for that review. Martin's are the best in .y Book!! Keep on playing those Martin's, they sound Awesome!!!

What model is your Dad's guitar, the serial number is on the inside of guitar stamped on neck, my advice would be to get the guitar appraised, your best bet would be Gruhn Guitars in Nashville Tennessee, he is one of the best, you have a prewar Martin, It could be worth alot more than than you think, prewar Martin's are very collectable, you need it appraised for insurance value, some are very valuable, talk to George Gruhn he will give you the best advice on what your guitar is worth, for insurance or resale value, hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!

​@@williambutler8624 I have a XOV-0 German made guitar Supposably the smallest bodied guitars made' from what little information I have found' they're was only 5 made from 1917-1921' made out of 3000 year old African blackwood. If I were able to travel' I would love to have grunn music to take a look at it and give me his opinion as to the value of it.

OMs are great. If you want then with the smoothness of an OOO, you can tune them down half/one step an put a capo on the first/second fret - you can even put heavy gauge strings on. Works great with every long scale to achieve that slinky feel and softer tone.

Only on special orders. It took a year for me to have a 00-18 made in 12 fret with short scale. But worth the wait! The perfect complement to my rosewood D-28 and HD-28.

When primarily acoustic players hear that Martin created the SC to be comfortable and easy to play for electric players who are used to these qualities... what do you do with that? I imagine some might think, "oh those spoiled electric players" but also others have to think, "wait, i can play something... Comfortable? That's an option?"

Firstly great and informative video. However, for the interviewer - perhaps less of interjecting and completing the sentence of the Martin rep. Let him finish speaking and avoid revealing the specs, etc before the rep introduces it. That's why the rep is there. If you all want to do the talking, start another video where you guys teach about Martin guitars instead. Other than that great production.

Really hard to compare the sound of the different models when he's playing different music or chord professions. He should have played the same thing on each guitar. That way you could truly hear the difference in the different models.

Legendary brand but overpriced instruments. If you have to spend 4000 euros for a "made in usa" guitar then you'd better look Takamine, Yamaha or Furch brands.

All You Need to "Understand" is this...90% of Martin Guitars are Mass Produced / Machine Made / Over Priced Guitars !

Why does everyone say it WRONG. It's 0, like the number zero, NOT the letter o. Even the Martin employee says it wrong. Unbelievable!

@….He’s saying the customary pronunciation is “triple oh” or “double oh”. I’m sure there are similar phrases in Spanish that are informally spoken differently than how they are written.
