What originally was the diesel loco at the front, was it at one stage a T class reguaged?🇦🇺

@@leonkernan Yeah, I saw the DH in the road number, so I thought it was either TGR or ex-QR stock, not completely sure which though, but that makes sense as they both can be easily re-gauged to Puffing Billy's gauge, if at all. It certainly wasn't a T-class, as suggested by Ray, that is to big and heavy for the line, plus it would need extensive under body work as well as trying to re-center the Center Of Gravity to accomodate the massive change in gauge, I can see why he would think that with the old VR paint scheme though, but that is only a cosmetic change to the loco.
