Hey, It's been a while, but I'm back again with a new video. Here's a classic remake of Thomas and Percy's Christmas Adventure. I recommend you to read the description. There’s a lot of stuff that you need to be informed of.
The reason why it took so long to be uploaded on KZbin was because I've been having a lot of issues with my new software which I've bought several months ago. It's actually an upgraded version of the software that I used some time ago. So now, I've decided to switch back to my older software.
I'd also like to apologize for some clips that are out of sync with the audio. It's all due to this new software, every time a project is finished and that the final video is finished rendering, the audio (for example the music, the SFX, ect...) is all out of sync with the clips.
I've tried several techniques to make the video look decent. This is why it took me 3 days to actually make the final video good after it was rendered. It also happened while the making of my 70th Anniversary tribute video. So I'm not 100% happy with the final result, but I've just spent so much time on it that I just couldn't cancel the upload and besides, I wanted to do something for this year's Christmas and to make my last video of 2015 which personally, wasn't a very good year for me. But it could've been worse...
I'd also like to point out that this will probably be the last "Classic Remake" that I'll be doing. I'm actually thinking to make remakes in a more "Railway Series" style. Kind of like my 70th Anniversary video. So, expect the newer remakes to be quite different from what I usually did back then. I just want to make my videos as accurate to reality as possible, therefore, this is why I'm thinking to change my way of doing remakes. Basically, I'm thinking to remake stories from the Railway Series. The narration would actually come from either Willie Rushton or Ted Robbins or even Johnny Morrison which all narrated specific stories of the Railway Series. And all the SFX, music, etc... will be added by myself. As a result, it may takes more time to make, but if everything works fine in the end, the final video shall be pretty good.
So anyway, I hope you'll still enjoy this new video that could've been better, but I tried very hard, especially in the set making and trust me, it isn’t easy to make a realistic set with snow. ^^ I've decided to actually use flour for part of the snow, I don't know if it was a good idea or not, but what I know is that I won't be using flour again for "Snowy" videos. It's just too messy and it's really time consuming because of all the cleaning that must be done after each set.
And don't worry if there will be less and less content from me in 2016, I'll simply be having a lot of exams because I'm finally going to college next year and because of my other hobbies.
Hoping that 2016 would be a great year, I wish you again a Merry (late) Christmas and a Happy New Year.
