'Thomas and the Magic Railroad' The Final Chase (Trainz 19 original short)

GREAT SCOTT!!! Thomas and Lady are in a dangerous high speed chase down the mainline trying to outrun Diesel 10 and his butthead ally P.T. Boomer. Can they escape to safety and keep the magic alive? Let's find out.
To celebrate 75 years of 'Thomas and friends', 20 years of 'Thomas and the Magic Railroad', and 35 years of 'Back To The Future', I decided to create my very first Trainz 19 short based on the final events from the Director's Cut of the Magic Railroad with some original ideas and some BTTF Easter eggs that I've hidden throughout the short (can you spot them all?). I know you guys have been waiting for this for over a year now and I'm sorry that it took so long, I've just been so caught up in schoolwork, my job, and applying for an actual Railroading career. But as Junior once said, "Better late than never." I hope you guys enjoy it.

Awesome remake! I just love all those references to Back to the Future (including the use of score from the movies!), the cameo of the Polar Express, the extra scene of the other engines and the Fat Controller at Knapford Station, that reference to Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure with P.T. Boomer trying to destroy Thomas with dynamite, the dedications to the filmmakers and the ones we've lost that worked on Thomas (especially Michael Angelis, since I feel like he deserves a good dedication in anything related to Thomas and the Magic Railroad now, as he's my favourite Thomas narrator!), and that special scene of Thomas in a spoof of Marty travelling back to 1985 from 1955!

I just thought of an alternative chase scene in tatmr! The steam team (Including Edward) are having a meeting with lady and Burnett stone. Suddenly Diesel ten Arrives and says, “Well look who we’ve got here!” “The whole steam team And the lost engine” So the engines begin to chuff away. They go past multiple Characters including, Duck, Boco, Oliver and Toad. The Chase heads down the main line. While the steam team stay on the main line, Diesel 10 goes onto the track that Gordon took a tumble on and derails. He crashes into a chicken coop just when sir Thopham hatt arrives from his holiday. He sends diesel 10 to the vicarstown diesel works where he stays along with splatter and dodge. Nice chase scene btw

This chase scene is friggin awesome! I especially love that you made Boomer more active in the chase. In the director's cut of TATMR, Boomer just sort of rode on Diesel 10 during the chase and did basically nothing; there was really no point of him even being there in the first cut. I love that in this version you have him throw explosives at Thomas and Lady, as well as actually make him a significant threat to Burnett. An anthropomorphic engine is powerless in the face of a human-being. With that being said, I feel like the director's cut of the film really missed the potential of making Boomer more destructive than Diesel 10. That's why I appreciate this remake of the chase, it gives Boomer much more significance and makes the chase much more thrilling!
