Mr. Bergersen is one of those composers who create music for the world, for "universe". For the sake of the sheer meaning what life itself is and what it actually represents: two things many of us do not think about that much. His music is not meant to be profitable, it is not meant to tell any message other than what we, listeners, formulate ourselves. It is meant to help question what is around us. You know, the feeling that suddenly occurs when you say something in your mind what makes you literally burst in tears, and you tell yourself "That is what really makes me happy, oh wow..."? Tomas Bergersen's music leads its listener exactly to these private moments of truth. It helps to unfold beauty behind the consumption-polluted phenomenon of life. I guess, that is what music was meant to be at the very beginning? To appreciate a fine thing and to contribute to overall beautiful picture? Anyway, great job, Mr. Bergersen! Thank You for making our lives, and my life in particular, a little bit more worth experiencing.

Song **LYRICS** for you songbirds starting at 1:54: Se en e-ya~ ye~ se~ no~ Ah~ glis~ do~ len~ Sner ye wa~ ni s-ye d-ye Ah na sve~ ni~ yo~ Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Sai ye-ya (sai ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Oh se-ya (oh se-ya) So ye-ya~ (Vocals) Sne re ah~ gli~ so~ vi~ Ah na s-ye~ di~ yo~ The tildes indicate sustained vocal length. Granted, these lyrics are merely phonetic, but I use them to increase my vocal range. Hope these lyrics are helpful to you too. Check out the lower pitch version here, for you folks trying to increase your lower range. Still quite challenging. That version is too slow, so I recommend listening at x1.25 speed. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2OvY32JqM1lZrc Or check out my karaoke version of low pitch here. There's so much depth here. I feel like there's enough familiarity that one doesn't get lost in the changes, but enough creativity that one is constantly hearing unexpected progressions in either the orchestration or the chords and voicing, and it leaves the listener with nothing to say other than "Whoa! That was awesome!" :)

Aksel Reeves Poems have order...poems make sense, either emotional or literal. They don't just throw a bunch of words together that happen to rhyme. That would be like me going "Fred lead red to the ped of the bed and ate another fred in the dread red bed." and then trying to pull it off like a big inspiring poem like this crack is.

“I am not sure what we are fighting for, our people are dying out there,” said the young soldier shaking in terror. “We are lambs to the slaughter, we are the wall, that holds back the Hordes. Only to preserve life as we take life. Son, there are human beings just on the other side ready to die as we are,” replied an older soldier sitting a few feet away. “But, why?” asked the young soldier. “So that our children can have their own children and not fear the night, sleep with one eye open, thinking, is this my last breath. Somewhere out there is death stalking its next prey, swinging his blade and snuffing you out of existence. Here I sit, awaiting death to climb over our wall, but here, me and you, we are their death. Fear is just an emotion that keeps us sharp and focused, when we raise our weapons, chaos follows, and thunder roars and lightning shatters the night. Our enemy needs to cry out to God for mercy, for they will have no mercy by my hands.” The older soldier locks his weapon and looks into Hell, seeing blood and minions of evil marching their way. Looking back to the young soldier, “Son, be ready to meet what God or Gods you worship, they are about to have company,” in a breathless moment, the two soldiers’ charged into the darkness.
