I remember when I got New Friends for Thomas from Toys r Us back in 2004. It had six episodes. Four from season 7 and two from season 6. Narrated by Michael Angelis. It was in the US. Others that don't make sense on that release are Thomas Gets Tricked, Gordon And The Gremlin, and The Fogman. Ones that are missing that should have been included are Rusty And The Boulder, Duncan Gets Spooked, Stepney Gets Lost, Thomas And The Search For Fergus, and maybe Wholly Bear as well. Plus, the order of episodes left a lot to be desired.

I have to agree with you on Not So Hasty Cakes. What I really hate is the fact that Fat Hatt is being an idiot for sending that garbage can on wheels to get the Christmas cakes when really, I think he could've just had Thomas do that simultaneously with Annie & Clarabelle! Another thing that really pisses me off is when Thomas is just as horrid as the villainous lorries to Thomas, Fat Hatt didn't wanna do a thing about it! What is wrong with him?!

Fergus was never seen again because his model was damaged beyond repair in the rockslide. This is why his flywheel didn’t turn is Fergus brakes the rules (should have been called Fergus gets tricked). If Fergus was in Season 8, I wouldn’t be surprised if he acted similar to how he did in Fergus gets tricked.

Season 4 is really high, because it has awesome episodes, e.g. Rusty to the Rescue, Thomas and the Special Letter, Special Funnel, Toad Stands By, Gallant Old Engine and many others. And I put Season 2 really low, because it has some bad episodes, like Dirty Work and Better Late Than Never. So, yeah. That’s why.

I believe it, some of the classic series episodes definitely don’t happen in airing order like Percy takes the plunge airing in season 3 but being mentioned in season 2 or Toad stands by and paints pots and queens being treated like they happened right after Oliver owns up and down the mine

Here are my Season 17 rankings- 26. *Steamie Stafford* It's not terrible but just meh. Also, it's kind of strange how Stafford suddenly wants attention. 25. *No Snow for Thomas* This one has a very cliched storyline and Thomas not liking his snowplough trope was old already. 24. *The Phantom Express* The term "Phantom" is not proper for this episode. It's again very cliched and just boring, 23. *The Switch* A fairly decent episode. The plot is a bit chiche but still pretty decent. 22. *No More Mr. Nice Engine* It's quite good although Hiro can get a bit annoying later in the episode. 21. *The Afternoon Tea Express* It's a decent episode. Nothing else to say. 20. *Scruff's Makeover* Nice to see Scruff in the lead and it teaches a good moral of usefulness before cleanliness, 19. *Gone Fishing* This episode was pretty good. Harvey's character was used properly here. 18. *Too Many Fire Engines* A good episode featuring Flynn? That's a surprise. It's a pretty good episode nonetheless and Flynn is atleast not a doofus. 17. *The Smelly Kipper* Nice to see James pulling the Flying Kipper and a pretty cool episode with a pretty cool crash. 16. *Away from the Sea* A really nice episode and Porter is a great new character. 15. *The Frozen Turntable* I really like this one. Admittedly, Gordon is a little too mean but it's still a pretty good episode. 14. *The Lost Puff* A nice episode with it's fair share of humour and good moral.

even though I'm late i'm just going to say some of thoughts on season 7. This is the season I have the most memory's with along with season 3. The narration between Micheal angelis and brandon are ok. This is my 7th favourite season behind the other classic seasons. Is it as good as season 1-6 no but it is still a good season. Also the gordon episodes are some of my favourites episodes

One thing that makes series 7 boring (in my opinion) is Angelis's awful narration. He was good at two episodes like Gordon and Spencer and Rheneas and the roller coaster. Holy crap, that's it.

My main problem with Michael Angelis' narration is that he speaks waaaayyy too slowly. The lack of enthusiasm didn't help either. I still take his narration over Michael Brandon's, which was full of cringe, especially with the narrow gauge engines.

My ranking of the Classic seasons- 7. Season 7- It is a good season in my opinion. It does have some bad episodes like What's the Matter With Henry but I do like some like Percy Gets it Right, Salty's Stormy Tale and more. 6. Season 4- Okay, I know this is going to be controversial but I still love Season 4. The thing I didn't like about this season was how they used the Standard Gauge episodes as leftovers. I didn't even know Train Stops Play, Mind that Bike and Bowled Out existed. 5. Season 6- Its an awesome season. Admittedly, the sets are pretty bad and the engines are poorly painted, the episodes are really good. My favourites would include Thomas and the Jet Engine, Percy and the Haunted Mine and Scaredy Engines. 4. Season 3- Its another great season with great model work and fairly good episodes. My favourites would include Percy's Promise, A Scarf for Percy and Escape. 3. Season 1- Fantastic season with very little flaws. 2. Season 2- Nearly perfect. 1. Season 5- With spooky and intense stories, amazing music, great characters, awesome visuals, this season is the definition of perfect

Here’s my list: 7. Season 3 It’s pretty good, but most of the episodes were based rather loosely on Wilbert Awdry’s stories. Although, there are some good episodes, such as: Trust Thomas, Escape, Buzz Buzz, Oliver Owns Up, you name it. 6. Season 2 Oh my god! No offence, but this season is a little bit overrated in my opinion. The episodes are a lot scarier and violent in my eyes. It has a lot of bad episodes, such as: Better Late Than Never, Dirty Work, Percy’s Predicament, you name it. But there are some good episodes, such as: Thomas Comes to Breakfast, Old Iron, Percy and Harold, A Close Shave, you name it. 5. Season 1 It’s pretty good, really nostalgic and fun to watch. It’s also a great way to introduce the whole program. 4. Season 5 It’s quite good, but there are some bad episodes, such as: Cranky Bugs, Horrid Lorry, Thomas and the Rumours, you name it. But there are some good episodes, such as: Rusty and the Boulder, Busy Going Backwards, A Better View For Gordon, you name it. 3. Season 7 It’s amazing! It’s got great episodes, such as: Rheneas and the Roller Coaster, Three Cheers for Thomas, Trusty Rusty, Snow Engine, you name it. But at the same time, there are really bad episodes, such as: Percy Gets it Right, The Old Bridge, Emily’s New Coaches, The Grand Opening, you name it. 2. Season 4 This season is way better than Season 3 in my opinion. It’s got a lot of great episodes, such as: Rusty to the Rescue, Thomas and the Special Letter, Special Funnel, Toad Stands By, you name it. Although, the only episode in this season that I don’t like is Passengers and Polish. 1. Season 6 This is without doubt, the best out of all the classic era in my opinion! It’s got the best episodes, such as: Thomas the Jet Engine (my all-time favourite Thomas & Friends episode!), Rusty Saves the Day, Gordon Takes a Tumble, Scaredy Engines, Dunkin’ Duncan, you name it! Although, the only episode in this season that I don’t like is Middle Engine. (Please no hate)

@@simoncsige5471 personally i just feel that season 7 started it’s downfall. i didn’t grow up on it. i grew up on seasons 1-6 for the most part. i cant stand the narration. and i really hated some of the characters like emily. don’t get me wrong there are some good episodes but this is the first hit era season i believe and i just don’t really like it
