Thomas & Friends: The All Aboard! Live Tour (Glasgow 28/03/2004) (Read the description)

"Family, friends and Thomas fans, I have received the full recording of my favourite stage show production I saw with my parents in Cardiff when I was six and a half years old in April 2004:
'Thomas & Friends: The All Aboard! Live Tour'.
I'm very happy to see it again at last. It's like being in my childhood again. Better than how I remembered it.
It was recorded with a camcorder in Glasgow SECC Arena on Sunday 28th March 2004, and transferred onto a DVD in 2009.
I don't know who filmed it, but I was given permission to show it to the public online.
It's the best (late) Birthday present I ever had, as I received it on 11th August.
When I was saving the show onto my computer, it was in three parts. Each part is a VOB file. I used the CloudConvert website to convert them to MP4 files. Afterwards, I put them together with Windows Live Movie Maker.
A 52-second bit might be missing at 39:00. I'm not sure why. Probably it was missing while it was being converted from the VHS or the recorded button on the camcorder might've been accidentally pressed twice.
Some bits might be bright as they reflect from the light, so I'm afraid the engine faces aren't seen much.
If you look closely as Percy comes out before and as he stops for a couple of seconds during 'Start The Parade' at the end, his wheels aren't moving.

Can’t believe there’s actual footage of this. I was there as a child at this show. Honestly was so excited and when the show started and couldn’t believe I was seeing “the real engines”! It was amazing! Drove home with my mum and dad after the show and couldn’t stop thinking about it. 6 year old me had never seen anything so awe-inspiring. This brings back so much nostalgic good memories to magical childhood loving these characters.

Everything in this live show is fantastic. The layout, the props, the atlas-spare, the effects are all brilliant. This is definitely way better than the Thomas live on stage shows. Is this a freaking musical? cuz I LOVE IT!! I've always loved trains ever since I was young; Thomas and Friends was one of the shows I watched that are related to trains. It was so amazing to see The Thomas and Friends Live show like this, I know there were live performances made for films in theaters and then released them on Physical Media, if Bob The Builder had the Live Tour out on DVD in America, why not have The Thomas and Friends All Aboard Tour on DVD in America and the U.K.

Today, I think that a show like this would be held in other Spanish-speaking countries. I guess Thomas never came on a tour to Mexico or Latin America at the time because of logistics. To this day I can't believe that there has never been a special tour or show with trains from the series in Latin America. I am 20 years old, I am from Peru and I was a fan of the series when I was a child

To think this show was performed right before Series 8 aired with all the changes that came with it. I was half expecting to hear the engine roll call theme but I was greatly surprised to hear the original theme tune. This live show was one of the last few things to bookend the classic era. And it looks like a lot of work was put into it too.

The only reason we can tell it's Thomas is because it's been around for nearly 20 years.

Did the 2006 tour have the series 8-10 theme as it series 10 came out in 2006 but the Jolly Roger Thomas kiddie ride from 2006 had the classic theme but later releases of the ride had the series 8-10 theme.

This is a different tour to that one. The one you’re thinking of is The Big Live Tour. That one involves Harold, Jack and the trucks before they were turned into Annie and Clarabel.

I recently learned from an anonymous source that the engine props are now in the hands of a private stage prop collector in Ireland. The collector also owns all the parts to the Thomas prop and plans to eventually restore the engines.
