@Movie&GameLover98 in addition to narrating this movie special (which came out on DVD in September 2008), Pierce Brosnan narrated the unreleased original cut of Season 12. When Season 12, however, came out on PBS in October 2008, Michael Brandon retained his original role of the narrator by dubbing over Brosnan’s narration track.

@@noahsalsberg9915, yeah the last Thomas production to use completely Model Series Sets because after that they'd use CGI animation in the next Season that being Season 12.

Take out the Model Sets and fully animate it in CGI or B.) or keep going with the fully Model Series Sets so instead they decided to combine them both still keep the Model Sets but animate their mouths with CGI on the Trains and other Island Vehicles and animate the people to move as well.
