The turn table theme is about 10 seconds long so it was fun to combine a bunch of different versions from across season 1. It was also a great opportunity to use the smallest (Eb clarinet) and LARGEST (contrabass) clarinet in one theme 😂

As a kid, I loved watching that scene of James spinning around and around on the turntable like a top, and then slowing down until you can see his eyes rolling around rapidly before he backs into the shed all tuckered out.

I think the best way to describe this theme is "the theme of uncomfortable situations" - seriously, no engine ever looks comfortable when they're on the turntable XD It's an easy theme to overlook, but just like Cranky's theme, you've created a very fun and catchy extension of it. I love how this one progressively gets faster, and then goes insane in the last few seconds! XD

As always, a very nice job. I was also remembering some of the quotes that accompanied this wonderful theme: "Next, he went onto a turntable, thinking of everyone laughing at him." "'I mustn't stick,' thought James. He stopped on just the right place to balance the table. It could now swing easily. Gordon arrived in time to see everything." "Gordon was cross and didn't care what he did. He waited 'til the table was halfway round. 'I'll show them, I'll show them,' he hissed."

What a fun piece. I like how you tease the upcoming tempo change at 0:38 before dropping back to the original key. The contrabass clarinet melody you developed fits the piece nicely; you're already getting some great mileage out of that instrument! Now, if only this could become the new "Premiere" piece for when you release new videos. It certainly has that countdown element. ;)

Thomas was uncoupled and he felt very silly and exhausted. Next he went on to a turntable, thinking of everyone laughing at him. He then went onto a siding out of the way. "Well little Thomas," chuckled Gordon. "Now you know what hard work means, don't you." Poor Thomas didn't answer. He had no breath, he just puffed slowly away to rest, and had a long long drink.

I was soon struck by the fact that you have used the high-pitched instruments for the rhythm and given the melodic part to the contrabass clarinet, doing the exact opposite of what composers generally do. A strange theme indeed, but, as always, very well thought of. Good job!

2:40 I've especially wanted to mention that I personally heard this exact same theme for the turntable during the montage of Thomas the Tank Engine taking on more H2O directly over @ the river near Elsbridge Station when the official water collum was basically considered to be exactly-DARE I SAY IT-out of order in the show's very own complete classic era in the official 1st season in the episode titled Thomas Goes Fishing straight from the Railway Series book titled Tank Engine Thomas Again written by the famously very much considerably 100% well-known Rev W Awdry himself!
