I am a 0.1% . Am 1/2 Hungarian 1/2 Austrian. The Hungarian melancholy lives deep within me. Since the first time I heard this as a young girl, it brings me to tears, every time ...as does the 'hungarian' violin. In German, the song that brings tears is 'Dein ist mein ganzes Herz, wo du nicht bist, kann ich nicht sein...' I ended up in the wrong continent and the word that i can feel is : saudade. @axelmimi Cada interprete tiene una ventaja sobre los que escuchamos: interpretan según su particular estilo,su lectura,su "tempo", su sentimiento.Esto es valido para un director de orquesta, un instrumentista musical ,un cantante,como en este caso Hampson. Por supuesto que la interpretación es distinta a Wunderlich, Gedda y otros. Si hubiese un ajuste total a la partitura serian autómatas...Eso es justamente el arte y por ende hay seguidores para A, B o C,sin demeritar a ninguno.

Hermosa voz y buena interpretación de esta linda romanza de Kalman. No obstante, Hampson la canta bastante más lenta que el tiempo que indica la partitura y con ello pierde belleza; sólo al final se pone a tiempo. Escuchar a Wunderlich, Gedda y otros barítonos magyares en esta romanza.
