This is how a lot of fighters generate power in boxing. It takes years and hundreds of hours of training to learn to throw a punch that's worth a damn (for the average person). Of course, people who are world champions often have a genetic and talent advantage. Any boxing trainer that's worth a damn can tell whether you have what it takes to be a world champion just by watching you punch a heavy bag on your first day.
