People keep asking why is he so great, or ask how they can get as good as him and this is how you do it.. Man he took that old saying " it takes a thousand hours of practice to become a professional " and he ran with it. That's why Thomas is such an amazing drummer. He did exactly whatever it took to be a drummer that could work from any angle and not miss a lick. He probably has done a thousand hours on both hands and on both feet knowing him.. Any of you are inspired to become a big name in the drumming world then take it serious and put the countless hours and days and weeks and years into every aspect of the drums like Thomas Lang did. He started a singer and put out an album and when it didnt do well he knew he needed to make a decision on what to do to be relevant in the music industry.. My hat is off and all the respect in the world to.this man. He did exactly what most of us wont do and that's get serious and put the work in.
@cablezillaАй бұрын
He actually professes the “10,000 hour rule” and he’s (without doubt) FAR past that goal. There’s plenty of amazing, awesome, ridiculously talented drummers out there. And there is TL the next level in drumming evolution. He seems to defy reality.

@@edwardblocker7021 bruh you might want to stop spewing that elitist bullshit and just think to yourself: is he performing right now? no lmao he's literally just playing for fun in this video. his chops are insane, that is objectively true. but when he actually uses them in a musical context, not when hes just playing for fun whilst setting up a kit he is nowhere near your so-called 'ineptitude'.
@edwardblocker70215 жыл бұрын
How can anyone use the word "bullshit" next to the word "elitist".? That is a contradiction in terms. What kind of moronic statement is that? Only an idiot would praise or condone such stupidity. Obviously, you know absolutely nothing about musicianship in a higher degree. The idea is that one is supposed to want and strive to become a good musician, but I can only surmise that that concept is wasted and would appear to be antiquated by fools who just can't seem to grasp that basic idea and are too damn lazy to try to become better. That's probably why the "self described" musicians of today literally stink and show no desire to achieve a higher echelon of "quality" playing, but rather are content to pretend to be competent when they can only impress the ignorant who don't really know the difference. It's sad when that difference is lost on lack of education.
