THOMAS Mapfumo popularly known by his totem Mukanya has been in the game for a long time.
Now based in the United States of America, Mukanya is in his own league. He is known for a number of hits including Corruption, Vanhu Vatema and Mamvemve among others.

This had to have been around 1994 and 95 because Aston Sugar Chiweshe was still on the lead guitar! By 1996 he had left the band and started his own.
