One of Tom Mesereau’s most persuasive cases made to an audience outside the court room is this speech to these young people. He probably convinced at least half of the young people to go to law school 👏🏾 Heck, he got me reconsidering law school rather than a doctorate and I already have a Masters Degree and a fulfilling career. Love him! 😘

I wish law cause only untill I got older there are many professions in law that incorporate banking and IT which I work in. I would encourage my kids to study law but not push them because I have knowledge that it can open a lot of doors in regards to a carrer path. I wasted so much time doing chem and physics because my typical parents wanted me to be a doctor, I was prepared well with private tutors and 3 years ahead of my peers. Being ahead was my downfall because I was always bored in class and clowned around. When your doing things you don't like you lose focus and your attention span is very short. It took me a while too find my footing and didn't have the leisure of my parents to guide me as they where immigrants who were too invested in my future buy working constantly that I never saw them untill I was 17 when they realised I was rebelling and majorly depressed. My teachers always told my parents I was the top student in the arts and IT, winning awards, receiving dux and even won a competition at 11 y.o for designing a library. My tiger parents beat me into submission and forced me to take subjects I had no interest in. I hope any kids or parents reading this might take my comment into consideration, guide your children, take notes of what talent they have and didn't make them live out your dreams cause you will just set yourself up for disappointment or distance your relationship with your child.
