+RNF Productions There's a few reasons. 1) Rawls may not be ready week 1. 2) Rawls may not be capable of the same production coming off of injury. 3) We need a solid backup just for rest during games and in case of injury. 4) There are some roles that might be better done by another player (a shiftier type like Prosise). I think Rawls did great last year and if he comes back week 1 in the same form we will be in very good shape, but I don't think we're at the point we have nothing to worry about.

remember, the NFC west has tape on Rawls now. also, our oline isn't good against the pass protection, but midway through the season the oline really gels for the run. well, our oline is going to be a lot different (better or worse) so basically, he's got a lot on his plate. after this year we'll know if he'll be our star

+DrNark420 You can only gain so much from Rawls on tape. The boy is elusive, explosive, and will straight run you over if he gets the chance. Not every team tackles like the Hawks. If he's ready week 1, I expect 1300 yards from him barring another horrible setback like last year.

+ice crazy not as beast mode when he was in his prime... Rawls has more juice and speed and explosiveness then beast right now and keep in mind it is possible for rawls to pass beastmode especially after a season like this. but there is only one beast and no one can run as hard as him. js but rawls has break away speed so that means more TDs and thats what make a goat running back is his ability to score. I say this because beast is the most powerful but he never really used that speed and explosiveness to get out of the pocket he was too slow which involved how much he got tackled (never easy to tackle and yes beastmode can score TDs) rawls he just bolts off the line rather then slowing a bit looking for a hole. there probably wont be another play like the beast quakes. I'm just excited to see this man play... I mean did you see him run over the 49er cb? thats just crazy af if only he stayed up and scored... that play would be looked at as one of the best. Rawls is young fast physical and has a good attitude. Seattle just knows how to pick diamonds in the rough.
