Holy fuck this is really well done and rather creepy! Rather than just having Thomas suddenly turn into an evil bastard and crash into Bertie on purpose, this adaptation of the creepypasta goes for a more realistic route of it being a horrible accident, in which Thomas screams in horror. The use of footage from the Classic era, with a few edits done in order to make it seem like an original episode is done pretty seemlessly and the damn crash scene... that whole scene chilled me to the core and creeped me the fuck out! All I can say is "Holy Shit" because this felt so damn real and is probably the only adaptation of "Thomas & The Children" that manages to look like a real Thomas episode and have a whole lot of effort put into it!

This is actually so good, better than the actual creepypasta in my opinion. I love the fact it isn't "ThOmAs TuRnS eViL sO sCaRy" like the original, instead, it was all an accident, a horrible one. The voice acting is absolutely amazing, the narrator sounds calm, but when Thomas screams in terror, it sounds so real. The editing is great too, it seems so real. The ending where Thomas goes across the viaduct is so good, there is no narration, no words, just Thomas, regretting what he did, feeling guilt, regretting going fast. If he just went slow, Bertie would still be alive. I'm so upset this doesn't have more likes because this is a work of art, it's clear that this is made with passion. Great work to everyone involved in this project!

I really like this! While some scenes are clearly edited, I like the idea of the episode being one trying to pass off as an official episode for malicious intent, so I don't mind it too much. I really like the re-interpretation of the story here too, with the children egging on Thomas to speed down the line and him getting careless which leads to Bertie's death. I genuinely really love that scene too, at the risk of getting made fun of, Thomas's screams are HAUNTING and I love it! I think my only real critique is the Internet Archive description at the beginning, but specifically the parent "waking up with dried gashes" part as it doesnt really tie in to the rest of the story, I feel like the episode being "haunted" just adds an unnecessary element, I'd personally prefer this just being an edited episode that a parent accidentally bought at a thrift store. Overall, I really enjoyed this!

I won't go into too much detail about how they were injured, but it was horrific enough for the kids to be screaming and crying. They were going pretty damn fast with no seatbelts.

8:25 I actually have an odd tape myself, it's from when my dad used to work for Gullane entertainment as a editor for episodes, his crew was given extra scenes by the film crew and when asked, they told him it was for a PSA against bullying and while dad's crew was reluctant, they did make it. Problem was the fact it was scarier to kids then first planned, so the PSA was canned and the crew got to keep a copy of it. Later on when I about 3 or 5, my dad would post a more dramatic version of the story to the creepypasta wiki then it got moved to the Spinpasta wiki. It's been a while since I last ripped video from a VHS but I'll give it a go.

HOLY COW! I never thought I'd ever get this worked up over a creepypasta. The original version was just edgy, but I think that what makes this rewrite so creepy, is that though we'd rather not think about it... This could potentially happen in Thomas's universe with enough bad luck. Like, Thomas wanting to please children? Of course. Children wanting to go fast? Why not? Bertie breaking down at the level crossing? Didn't that happen already? To think that this is possible within the universe (although it would never happen) just makes it all the more creepier and eerier...

Honestly, this wasn't bad. My only complaint is that the entire beginning with the publisher and his kid didn't really need to be there since it didn't add much to the story. I think it would've been better if it was just something the author found on the Internet Archive. But I liked how the setup for the episode felt realistic like something that would actually happen on the show and the edited parts were well done despite being simple for the most part. @@UnhingedFanatic i think there was a scene where a bunch of kids were presented. And a scene where spud the scarecrow hid behind a brickwall. There was also a news report that someone purchased it from a yard sale along with a crt tv. He later recevied a bootleg bob plushie in the mail.
