Thomas & The Magic Railroad Print Studio Walkthrough

Bet you weren't expecting me to cover this one. :P
Here's a bit of an oddity when it comes to Thomas games on the PC. Magic Railroad Print Studio. This was released exclusively in the UK in October 2000, just 3 months after Magic Railroad hit theaters. I don't know why it was released exclusively in the UK rather than the rest of the world. Part of me thinks it has something to do with the development studio Hasbro Interactive going out of business eventually leading to them eventually becoming part of Infogrames a few months later. It is a bit confusing if you really think about it and the connections that the film had with Shining Time Station.
The game itself is a bit of a weird one. It's based on Magic Railroad but includes several characters in the game that aren't even in the movie to begin with.
Mavis, Caroline, Terence, Bulstrode, Hell, even Edward's in the game despite not appearing in the movie with the other engines.
The graphics, art and the sound direction makes me wanna raise an eyebrow. Like seriously, who was behind the sound direction for this game? It's like they took a bunch of random SFX from one of those CDs you'd expect at a studio and they just randomly slapped em all over the place. :P
Don't have much else to say besides that. Game itself is fine, but man there are so many weird things they did here.
This was played on a Virtual Machine running Windows ME. Getting the VM set up to record and play through the game was a nightmare with the drivers I had to install to get it running, so if you hear some audio issues around the begining, I'm sorry bout that.

Also, I wonder why this wasn't released in the US because this game could've easily been released in the US and could've been just so fun and popular for the little ones for sure (oh well)!! Lastly, I just absolutely love all the funny sounds of when you change the paint cans lol it sounds like a cartoon but it also makes you think that it doesn't fit the style of Thomas so it is kind of childish too in my opinion but hey whatever I guess. I also like how Billy and Lily are in the paint gallery too I'm just glad we're getting more representation from Magic Railroad into this game and not just the main new characters at the time like Lady, Diesel 10, Splatter, and Dodge nice work for sure Hasbro thanks!

I didn't actually play this game as a kid because I am American and I also have just never once even heard of this game anyway until like 2-4 years ago but hey it definitely looks so cool for sure! I wonder why also that they made Trevor's theme as Diesel 10's theme instead of the theme where he threatens Mr. Conductor and almost throws him until he cuts off his claw arm instead.

How ironic that Edward is a character in this game but he never appeared in the movie at all lol Also is it me or am i the only one thinking this was just gonna be a normal art and print game before the TATMR branding cause there's barely anything else that relates to the film aside from the title and the added characters This is what I'm getting at: This was planned to be released as a normal pc title before TATMR and just decided to add more random things to it (Now for the record, This is merely just a theory and not an explanation for this game)

There are some characters that are not in the movie like Edward, Terrance, Caroline, Cranky, Mavis, Bulstrode, The fat controller in physical format and some random people Why is this even called Thomas and the magic railroad print studio this could’ve been called Thomas and friends print studio
