Impressive and beautiful! I have translated some of Traherne's writings into French and he has been a dear companion for years now. Well done for this delicate and powerful insight into his world.

I've slept in St. Mary's churchyard. I caught the first bus in to Hereford -7:00a.m.'ish. There were more people than I expected; yet it was quiet on that bus. To warm myself up ( after ' bathing ' myself in the metallic toilet behind the church, I entered ' McDonald's ' for the very first time in my life. The warmth, the unstoppable movement of people, the colours crossing the tv screen and a simple , everyday ordinary cup of tea made me feel lonely. I'd never felt lonely before this. Maybe I was still carrying Thomas with me.
