The combination of this game and Rythian's voice is one of the most relaxing things ever.

As I listened to Benjamin's story, I gradually paralleled it with the tale of Icarus, the boy who flew too close to the sun. With the father (an inventor who created wings so he and his son could escape their island prison), the jetpack (= wax woven wings which melted when Icarus flew too high), and the temptation of the Fountain (= the sun, a prospect that the cocky Icarus could not be swayed from), it was hard not to. Here it was less so a tragedy of recklessness (as the tale is generally told) and more the kindling of hope and determination. I was ecstatic to see more of Thomas was Alone. Thanks for covering it Rythian!

Rythian is always one my favorite you tubers from the Yogscast simply because he connects so well with the characters in these narrative type games. Sometimes he can be inspirational, sometimes he can be the voice for the things unsaid (the funny and the sad), and sometimes he can really make viewers feel like they are watching a book. I really loved his original playthrough, and this one brought more smiles. Thanks a lot Rythian!

Benjamin is Icarus. Their fathers made their jetpacks/wings and they both hurried to get to somewhere bright (the fountain/the sun) and suffered because of it

The final level of the DLC was the same level where you meet Sarah! Also, Benjamin probably was supposed to resemble Icarus. In fact, there was quite a bit of sun imagery in the DLC.

I can't help but laugh when Rythian plays these games. The way he reacts to things, the way he talks to them, the game is already beautiful (and cute in a simple little way) but the way Rythian plays it makes it more so. You are so awesome Rythian. When you play a great game, you always make it even greater.

I didn't realise when playing it, but watching it now, I realised - the room Sarah ends up in is the one at the end of this is the one where she meets Thomas in the main game. Clever continuity. And a great game.

Rythian's little speech to Sarah near the end just made me feel warm. Just so awesome. I'm getting the game myself right now because It's on sale. I can't wait to experience it myself. But without some of the amazing things that Rythian has said throughout this video, and his previous series, I think the experience might be a little empty. When Rythian said that he took offence about the whole sandwiches and cute purple fangirls not mattering anymore thing at around 24:48, I have a feeling I know what he means about the fangirls thing. :) Do you know how many people (including girls) cosplay as his minecraft character every year? And the color scheme for that is mostly *purple* and black! :) (actually, me and a friend cosplayed as Rythian and Zoey for holoween last year. It was awesome. I was Zoey. My costume was terrible. We're doing it again this year but better. :3 )
