Super easy Breath Practice to activate the parsympathetic nervous system(PSNS): Inhale, slowly and deeply 4 seconds + hold it 4 + exhale 6 . Repeat at least 10 times...and chill! One of the easiest ways to calm your body+mind and take you out of "fight or flight" mode. Stops anxiety, So you can chil, relax and be in the present moment. Great tips overall, TY I really need to utilize physical activity. I mean I know it works, I just keep procrastinating... Fuck it, not today. At the very least ill longboard down the street and back lol

Great tips! I sung on a choir long ago, and before practicing we always did similar practices, and also practices to 'loosen' our vocal chords, lips and tongue. And then we started singing!

Number 2 makes a lot of sense. I feel more talkative after I’ve been around oriole. I also performed better on camera when I was on a team recursive a video podcast.

Picture yourself, you're in a busy high street and you come to a complete stop outside one of the busiest shops. You reach into your pocket and pull out a piece of Lego. You hold it at arms length, and you start talking to it - That's how I would feel even in a room all on my own. I have to admire and look up to people that can do this, either in public or by themselves. Cheers, Thomas 👍
@J_Hills3 жыл бұрын
The best way I can look at it is, imagine the camera for what it is. It's your audience. You're talking to people, even if it's just a camera at the time. If people ask what you're doing, just tell them! Some of those people won't understand, but that's ok. :)

Exercise... lost me there... not sure what you mean. All the same, I am tracking what you're saying. Good advice. I sometimes do similar approaches before singing before a crowd. Guess I should be applying the same idea to the camera.

Great video. Concise, actionable, and to the point. Simple suggestion on your background. A little less light. Darken the room a bit, just an accent light on the wood. Help yourself stand out from the background. Don't clutter too much. Not sure how much blur you put into the background. More is better but not too much either. Remember, background accent light is opposite side of you, from the key light in front of you. I . @ *

It's mostly youtube's itself fault though because you need 8 mins in order to get midroll ads and the creators need the money from somewhere. Here he added 2 midrolls so this is tripling the amount of money he would've made from ad revenue.
