Congrats on the RV! Paint schemes are always polarising between individuals and I gotta say, I for one, quite like it. Also, to fill the void on the right side of the panel, consider adding a cubbyhole. That should give you some easy access storage. Add in a USB charger port and you have the perfect spot to store/charge up phones/camera equipment etc whilst on route (and snacks...can't forget snacks...). See you on frequency, happy flying!

Thanks Ryan! I have definitely been getting the polarising reactions to the scheme as well haha. To make it something more of my own, I will be respraying her in January next year. I have had some thoughts on what to do in the open panel space! There is a USB next my seat and also pockets under my arm rests. A cubby sounds like a good idea though!

Paint scheme awesome. Love the idea of merging bush planes with the RV community! Half way through our RV7. So will also make the move from a small Kitfox to the RV :)

Great to see this finally on the channel, almost as good as seeing it fly around Petit the day you brought it in there. Nice that you got the engine issues sorted. Hopeful a simple (and cheap) fix. You hinted at a mag issue mid video?
@ThomasMarrow20 күн бұрын
Yes, all is sorted. It was the left mag that failed and needed to be overhauled. Flying like a dream now though!

I would like to know who did the paint job😊 very nice 9
@ThomasMarrow19 күн бұрын
Not so sure! I think it must have been the builder. The flames and horse are a vinyl application. The paint underneath was very nicely done.

I think the paint scheme is pretty cool. Although painted like an Atlas Cheetah or British Spitfire would be pretty cool.

Love the Lycoming engine, just keep that thing well maintained, they cost ALLOT more to fix than a Rotax.

Congratulations on the RV 7 i yous to work at aircraft assembly center but i left just before the start of the billing of the plane but sorry to say and not to brag that RV7 would of come out much better than it did if i did say on there but you never know what you got till you lose the standard of experience. the rudder is not from the previous oner it was from bad workmanship after i left the company .
