Ok so I'll be honest: That James WAS indeed a factory-error item, that is true. But WHY did I open it since toys like these go on high demand, especially ones that are collector's items? Well, it was the last day I went to Toys R Us before it closed down. I had noticed that the tender had that problem when I took a closer look when considering buying it. But it was the last one, and this was my last day there(at least, the last one before the Thomas merch was removed, and one employee was impressed that I came in twice to take advantage of the disscounts) and I said "Screw it, I don't plan on selling it anyways" and opened it. Honestly, I still don't regret opening it, but that one spot of factory-messed up paint REALLY bothers me now, when it didnt when I was younger.
