Jonah Loeb its not hard to tell someone to go to right field and point the knob to the catcher...i would have been impressed if he told her to hit the inside of the baseball or extend the top hand more threw her swing.

I was never told that in six years of Little League. It might have helped me more, and I had the opposite problem that Lauren has. Also, I think I misunderstood what "bail out" meant before this video - I thought it only applied to the feet.

Thome was not only awesome on the field, he was awesome off the field too. he was a true "selfless star." he never missed an opportunity to talk to a kid whom he knew loved him, because he knew that kid would remember that moment for the rest of his life. he treated Indians fans like family and we loved him for it. him and Omar Vizquel were doing pregame warmups before a game and he turned to the crowd when they were done and I miraculously got his attention and he threw it to me. I was about 12 so, needless to say, my dad towered over me. when Thome threw the ball to me my dad naturally caught it not even thinking about. Thome stopped *dead in his tracks* and stared my dad down until he saw him hand me the ball, then went on his way lol then he proceeded to hit 2 HR's and a double that game. somehow once again I miraculously got his attention after the game and he came and signed my ball for me. he actually friggin' remembered throwing the same ball to me before the game, and said he didn't think "the guy next to me"(my dad) was going to give me the ball so he was about to say something to him haha still my prized possession of my entire life, that ball will never leave my family.

Ohio Against The World Great story. I grew up in LA so I'm a rabid Dodgers fan. But those mid 90s Indians teams were a team I loved to watch. Manny and Thome were my two favorite hitters back then.

Thome is a class act, phenomenal player & great man. The MLB Central cast (DeRo, LS, Roflo) are the best in the business, the most entertaining, influential & educational sports show on television. DeRo is my all time favorite, love the guy. He’s such an incredible baseball mind & great athlete. He was actually a pretty good college QB. Moreover, I have to say how beautiful Lauren is, she was a bombshell at UF. She can model workout attire 🤩🤩😻😻🔥💥❤️😍💕😍🥰. I pray 🙏 that MLB Central is back for the 23 season. Let’s get it Cubs fans!!

A pitcher will read it right away and throw inside, especially if your batting stance was drastically different in your other at bats. Unless you're Cal Ripken and change it from pitch to pitch. It's like poker, you don't show your hand. Gwynn had the same batting stance for 20 years and sprayed it all over the place.

When Thome came to the plate... especially in a tight game, you always felt like he was about to crush it. His persona on the field always seemed to bring the magic of baseball to life. For me, there are very few players today who carry that torch. Mike Trout, definitely... Jim's drills is all about adjustment making to pre swing positioning- Deros is all about adjusting swing plane....which one garnered the instant "gratification"- Deros....so Lauren's issue was understanding swing plane, rather than positioning...she even messed around with a closed stance (GCarlo)...which didn't yield the instant result. Awesome stuff !!!
