@@CJ-zp7qj I meant underated like Willie Mccovey, Frank Robinson and Eddie Matthews all hall of famers but underappreciated comared to their counterparts. McCovey lived in Mays shadow, Matthews lived in Aarons. Thome was a quiet humble guy so he was often overlooked compared to guys like Jr or big papi.

Thome is one of my all time favorite players. He is also one of my all-time favorite good guys. What's cool is it looks like he can still hit.

Jim Thome! A great player, I think he hit the first home run at citizens bank park when it was built, when he played for the Phillies (my team😎)

Yes he did. Thome was replicating Bonds violent bat tilt towards shortstop before snapping the barrel into the zone
