For anyone who remembers this movie, the scenes where the U-Need-A Medical Wherehouse and the entrance to the cemetery where filmed in Los Angeles. If you use Google maps, look up 698 Moulton Ave, L.A., CA 90031, and there it is. The cemetery didn't actually exist, but the buildings are there. Great spot to take some pictures. Having been a fan of part 1, I went there and took some great pictures. Very cool and nostalgic. It was even raining the day I went there. If you're ever in L.A., check it out. And a side note it took me forever and a day to hunt down and get the soundtracks to both parts 1 and 2 on vinyl. Had to get them from England. 🤘

The zombies in this movie, you almost feel bad for the poor guys. They don’t wanna be alive, they want to be dead, and they only eat brains because it soothes the unrelenting pain of being undead. Seriously, poor sons of bitches.

but the way many dead wake up just knowing they need brains right away .. is kind of creepy , it highely suggest that the dead were conscious before they were reanimated. it took freddy most of the night to realize he was craving brains. yet the ones that climbed out of the ground knew it instantly. to me this is one of the most horrific aspects of this movie. were they feeling themselves rotting the entire time they've been dead? god the thought of it sends chills up the back of my spine. if what it suggest is true , then all things that die will eventually suffer for long periods of time before finnally completely fading away. it would also mean taht beign reanimated is the only way/time any one ever got release from the endurring pain.

Jose Diaz That would be redundant. The "prequel" is the movie "Night of the Living Dead" and they reference the movie in Return of the Living Dead. Sure, they said that the movie "changed" some facts, but making an entire movie just because of some changed facts is over the top. Especially when they explain what was changed. There's absolutely no need for a prequel.

I meant the story he explained what really happened. The incident with the army & the trioxin gas. That leaked then spread to a nearby morgue. They finally stiffed the zombies in separate containers. That's what the prequel would be about.

Most people like origin stories a.k.a. prequels. Would be cool to see what the tarman looked like before he was stuffed into the barrel. It would also show how the army captured the zombies then put them in those containers. Most questions would be answered.

Definitely a favorite zombie film. I enjoyed the film because it was jyst very memorable with some memorable moments like when they call Burt and the guy calmly fixes his hair and drinks water, or when they realised the zombies cannot die( atleast until part 2 happened a few years later). And it also had memorable characters like Tarman the zombie and Burt and trash( fun fact: appeared in friday the 13th part 2)

Dan Wells It was kind of hard in places, but it was a pretty good game. It's hard to find these days, but I heard there's a remastered version on the way for consoles. The original spanned the first three movies and even had the freezer rifles from the third one.

I am an artist as well. Now I'm jello that you beat me to this one. You should do part 3 next. I would suggest selling prints but im not learned in copyright laws as it pertains to selling illustrations. I really need to find a reliable source for that. Side note: I heard that ssq is the 80's pop musician Stacy q. She shoulda stayed with this style of music. She would have had a longer career and I would have been spared of having "I-i-i-i-i-i-need you!!!" Stick in my head whenever someone played her music.
