I refused to watch Ragnarok because of how boring the other 2 Thor movies were and how boring he always was. It wasn't until infinity war came out that I decided to watch it just so that I wouldn't be confused about things happening in Infinity War and this was such a good surprise. Thor with long hair from Thor 1 to AoU was boring. Typical strong, good looking, jock character that used his muscle to think. I didnt hate him but he wasnt nearly as interesting as the other characters. But Thor: Ragnorok was such a banger and Thor in Infinity War was the 2nd best part of the movie, it changed the whole perspective on Thor. He became interesting and highly entertaining.

You see there's a difference! He didnt run away from his problems. He faced it but because he was obsessed with personal revenge he wounded thanos just so he could tell him that he told him "he would die for that" & watch him in pain suffering as he drove the axe into his chest! With that thanos still erased half the universe & thor felt responsible cause he could of really just killed him & everybody would've have been ok. So its a mental issue of "its my fault" what caused him to drink & become totally depressed & just stay home.. is not that he didnt want to face his problem he just taught he wasnt worthy no more & would mess up things. Cant really blame the guy for how he felt anyone of us mentality would have changed with those experiences.
