Amazing fight and a more realistic showing of Wanda since House of M is her drawing on external powers (the lifeforce). What was even more impressive though is just how powerful Xavier mind really is. I mean if Red Skull who lacks Xavier's training and finesse can easily control Thor and many others, one can only imagine just how much of a threat Xavier could be if he really wanted.

In HoM, she was raising the dead and erasing people from existence at will. If she actually wanted to kill someone with her reality warping abilities, she easily could have like she did Hawkeye. She said “no more mutants,” not kill all mutants, a vague statement open to interpretation. This combined with the fact that she was clearly mentally and emotionally unstable at the time, using unstable magic on a wide scale could explain why the x-gene was removed and mutants weren’t deliberately killed. Regardless, what has been confirmed is that a clear-headed and focused Wanda can erase anyone from her altered reality with nothing but a thought, regardless of their own power level, so if she wanted to erase Thor, there is no reason to think that she couldn’t have.
