video the good. it a great. i liek. Honestly, seeing your reviews on Yakuza have really got me wanting to play them. I bring this up because there's been very few reviews that I watched where I'm like "WOW! I want this game". I guess that's mostly because people seem to review bootleg games now or they exchange criticism for a "lol xD" joke, but when you review a game series that you love, there's so much enthusiasm in both your voice and what you are saying. All these reviews have just sold me on Yakuza. thank the very much.

Yakuza 3 is disc only so try to find that one first, 5 is digital only so get a console with a big hard drive (50 Gb minimum)

I just got done playing this game today and I absolutely loved it even though the story was a bit confusing the characters and just amazing story telling alone was amazing.

Going thru the HD remasters for PS4. I liked 3 plenty enough but it was the weakest I'd experienced thus far. My progression through the series is funky, given that I started at 0, then did the Kiwami games then Judgement. So gameplay has been back and forth. Then I played 4. And yeah, loved what I loved about the series in it . . . but there were a couple of TOTAL BULLSHIT moments that annoyed me. Two that come to mind is the Saito fight in the prison and the Last Boss with Tanimura. I'm sure you can prepare suitably enough, but the difficulty balance was way off to me. And thus, this is my weakest Yakuza so far.

I've an idea : Sexy Stages - Kamaroucho. As you said, the place is filled with interesting sights to see, and encounters, that is feels "alive". Speaking of encounters, (and I know praising this game is already a dead horse) Witcher 3 has some pretty neat encounters. Like you'll be walking in the street and save a person that was tied up by bandits, and then go someplace else and find a refugee family was robbed and killed by the same guy, who was actually another bandit, and he thanks you for freeing him on that beach.

I was planning a Sexy Stages on Kamurocho already. I'll probably do it to sign the series off. So like, after I've reviewed all of them. Seems appropriate I guess. I was even considering going to the real place it's based on ( biowisp.tumblr.com/post/96936797672/kabukicho-the-real-life-kamurocho-these-were ) but that seems a tad drastic haha.

Finished this up earlier today and dove straight into 5. Have to say I did adore most of the game but yeah some of that stuff near the end is a bit silly and clashes hard with the "serious story" vibe. Still one of my favorites in the series thus far even with that issue.

It sold better then a lot of the others, so it was the first Yakuza game for alotta people. I'd say that it's better to start with the first game though (which is getting a PS4 remake soon) but, I can understand if busting out the PS2 isn't something you'd want to do. I haven't played 0 yet either, so I can't say if it's one of those prequels that still spoils stuff for the other games. But I'm guessing it's a better place to start then any of the direct sequels.
