@@Ensource everyone knows Vexes. The new double album is about to drop. Check out The Icarus Plan. They just dropped their debut album. It has the same singer and guitarist from On A Dead Machine/Drought. They are a bit like A Perfect Circle, Deftones, 10 Years, Janus, and Chevelle. Also check out the song My Love/My Tomb, by Stoneside. Lastly check out a band called Silence Is A Virus. I would start with the song Drab. Seems like bands like Thornhill and Loathe are straight up ripping the riffs from those guys. Chino loves himself some Silence Is A Virus. He loves them so much he let them record all their material in his beloved Palms studio.

If it wasn't for clearly modern sound mixing\mastering, I'd genuinely believe this song and music video were from the early 2000s. They perfectly nailed the atmosphere both in terms of the visuals and the song itself. Super edgy, but definitely more in a charming than laughable way. Gorgeous and even nostalgic to some extent. I definitely want more.

The progressive curve Thornhill is on is insane. Harnessing both diversity and consistency within your art is something that can't be taught. Deftones did it, and Thornhill are doing it just as well.
