Do you have torque recommendations for bolts and do you recommend thread sealant? It would be a good idea to simply include a basic note. Sales guy said it would, but nothing found in the box..thanks

All bolts to around 17 ft lbs. No need for thread sealant. We apologize for there not being instructions in the package and will work to see that Beans corrects that.

Looking like I am gonna have to do a tappet cover gasket on my 02. Have the fixed some the issues they were having with these or still gonna have to modify the bracket on the vp44?

Curious how well that crankcase vent works. I've built ports into the OEM cover with no success as it there is a lot of oil slinging around in there.

Always suggest a catch can, especially for anything with some decent HP. We did more with the CCV than anyone else does on a tappet, but its still not perfect and may let some oil push out. I plan to offer an upgraded CCV filter option as soon as I can get time to develop it.

The 24 valve has a spacer for the return fuel setup. It's missing a spacer for that. Will need to order an extra coupler nut and a m8-1.25x25 socket set screw. Save anyone any delay time on the install...

Do you have to add lines to the crank case ventilation area on the Beans tappet cover?

You don’t HAVE to but it makes the install a lot cleaner.

Loved the design, only thing is the return line it also takes a spacer didn’t come included, another problem is the bracket has to be modified in order to fit with this tapper cover it’s way thicker then the oem one.

Not only dose it not have a spacer for the fuel return you got to cut about 1/4 off the pump bracket and only use one bolt or it hits the cover wish I would have known wouldn’t have ordered this one no hate to thoroughbred diesel love you guys just wish beans would have did a better job

Hunter Cimini 2000 is the year and I’d check in some of the diesel forms on Facebook and ask around I was not happy with the stuff I had to customize wish it would have been a bolt on thing

steve volp there is a bracket coming off the cover you have to use one of the old bolts that the threads in the back and grind it down to fit if not the return t will start to leak at the back of the block

@@lincolnwilliams6905 Oo thats good to know I'm going to be doing this soon I ordered one without the vent plugs on the side because I still have the front crank vent this one came with hardware to mount ecu.
