Hey everyone! This was probably the hardest tune i've arranged for the 'Melodies of Midgar' album i've just released (album is in description!) It's ridiculous that this has so few views. This isn't just the best cover of this song I've heard, it's one of the best covers of anything I've ever heard. The rhythmic/harmony changes to the original are amazing, the solo is amazing, even the filming is amazing. This deserves more attention than it's gotten

Some melodies also reminisce the pokemon gsc type of bittersweet melodies. These are what makes takes of originals by experienced musicians so precious. It's the nods to the clashing cultures of video game and jazz that give you indications of essentially what the artist grew up playing, listening and studying.
