Why Is the History of King Saul’s Disobedience Meaningful to Us?
Adam and Eve obeyed Satan’s words, ate the forbidden fruit,
and were expelled from the Garden of Eden. King Saul followed the will of the people,
regarding God’s word as a small thing, and was expelled from the throne.
Likewise, in this age, the Holy Spirit can be given only to those who obey God’s word.

When we obey the words of God, the Holy Spirit is always with us,
and we live a blessed life. Since all human beings are imperfect,
we must follow God’s perfect path with obedience until the end
in order to live a victorious life and be filled with the Holy Spirit
like our forefathers of faith.
“We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit,
whom God has given to those who obey him.”
