The name 'ramune' comes from the way the Japanese heard 'lemonade' when it was introduced to them by Westerners in the 19th century. The marble harks back to the Codd-neck bottles it was originally sold in, and is still sold in similar bottles today. The marble is there to keep the gas sealed in until it's pushed into the bottle; it has nothing to do with the flavouring, and doesn't release gas itself either.

The diy kit: White balls are like fondant that are like sticky sugary flavoured dough and the dough goes on these things called Mochi balls which have that dough stuff surrounding ice cream and they taste sooo good

I dunno if you've ever had it, but if you ever do another American snack tasting vid, you should definitely try cream soda. I recommend Sprecher if you can find it--basically, imagine cotton candy and toasted marshmallows and the best parts of everything ever, all in one HUGE bottle--but there are dozens of brands to choose from. It's usually pretty sweet, but trust me, it is amazing. (Try not to be put off by the fact that a lot of root beer manufacturers also make cream soda; they're nothing alike.)
