Yes and no. I feel like Amy feels responsible for her sister. Thinking that if she doesn't take care of her Tammy could die. And that's a heavy thing to carry. It's like that with any addiction sometimes on order to support and help someone get better you're willing to take the punches. The sad part is Tammy has no plans of changing, not to the extent that she needs. Sometimes you don't realise that instead of helping you're just enabling the addiction and that's what Amy is doing unknowingly. I think she got a demanding personality. From the outside, yes, that is the wisest decision to do. But people with such personality have a way to make you feel bad for not fulfilling their demands. Tammy gained 20 pounds back I think, and they got her a real care taker and so tammy goes on “walks with her” but stays in her wheel chair the whole time.
