I think both are great. Nordic BM = Dark and Evil. Hellenic BM = Melodic.

Black metal wasn't originally created to become a big music genre. In Greece it actually kept its low profile. Norwegian black metal bands produced equivalent music but they became really famous due to all the incidents that took place.

For those who dont know, Sakis from Rotting Christ is Necromayhem (his early black metal nickname) and providing backing vocals (you can actually recognise him if you listen closely) along with guitars. Sakis is a Thou Art Lord member till now.

sadly my uncle doesn't play for thou art lord anymore since his close friend and bassist/synth magus wampyr daoloth playing for thou art lord (for example in apollyon, eosforos) and in some rotting christ albums as synth (non serviam) died a few years back (i think 4-5 years). He did play societas satanas on mount lykavitos in rockwave festival greece with varathron celebrating 35 years

Not that i know of, thou art lord was a side project from the guitarist/vocalist for rotting christ but after their bassist's death gothmog they broke up
