I’m currently discerning between being a Professional Medical Technologist or a Certified Public Accountant. I’m currently in Senior High School and I have a year and a half left to decide as of the writing of this comment. Oh, and by the way, I am from Silliman University Senior High School.😊

Both are great choice of professions but with different pathways. Med Tech takes 4-5 years plus working on your residency and specialization which may take 10 years or so then you may have a choice in remaining in hospital residency and establishing your own clinic or if you choose not to opt for that 10 years, work your way by working abroad. Meanwhile as CPAs, your pathway is being exposed in business and financial world, mainly auditing, advisory and consultancy. Most pathways of CPAs are straight in taking up Masters Degree or Law. Just like the late Washington Sycip who has upheld high ethical standards in Business, he held Directorships and sits on the Board of Philippines most valuable Companies. - Sorry for the long reply
