the Glock performance trigger is solid drop safe. Same cannot be said about the Timney trigger.

Yes it is. As smooth as the Timney trigger is, I’d never trust it outside of competition.

Thanks for the info sir. I’ve been on the fence about one of these but have just about made my mind up. Looks like a solid piece of kit. Your input is most welcome. I like that I can say it’s all OEM. Keep the videos coming

Thanks! You won’t be disappointed. I ran another 100 rounds with it today with zero issues.

I recently came across your channel....and I was really interested in getting this item for my G34. Your information was very informative.

The Performance Trigger sounds like a great trigger for competition or at the range, but certainly not for carry/self defense. Personally for carry I installed the Glock factory 4.5 lb. connector with polished internals. Works great.

@chrisma1976 Жыл бұрын
@@johnmccoy3365 the pyramid trigger is basically the stock trigger with the internals polished and an upgraded shoe. I like it, but the performance trigger is noticeably smoother. They both have their benefits, but I’m thinking of going with the performance trigger on all my competition pistols going forward.

Johnny glock has a extra power return spring for the timney now, it has a way better reset now

It still sucks. I bought it. Was garbage compared to the Glock performance triggers reset. It feels like a the factory trigger reset

@@Youknowwh0iam they don't make it for gen 3, timney needs an overtravel stop

personally, I would carry it once I Put several hundred rounds down range with it.

It really all comes down to personal preference. I wouldn’t want someone to shoot their junk off because I said it was cool to carry.

only for 9mm lolz sounds about right let me know when it comes out for God and Mans Calibers .45 acp and 10mm. Till then the Ghost self defense package is best for the real Calibers
@chrisma1976 Жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure they developed this trigger with competitive shooters in mind, so I doubt they’ll make one in those calibers in the future. I put it in my Gen5 Glock 22 and it works great. Get you a .40 man.

Meh, get a 1911/2011 if u care about break. Glock triggers are always gonna be sloppy no matter what kinda updates get brought to the table, it's physics/geometry.
@chrisma19762 жыл бұрын
A 1911 break is very crisp. The break on this trigger is kinda nonexistent because it’s so light.

In fact Glock changes Geometry with this new trigger ;) please don’t speak if you don’t know anything.

@@b.jak7 hey Skippy, they didn't. That's why it still has a rolling break champ. No go take that stupid stick mag out of your stolen g43 BRANDON.

@@pjbiggleswerth8903 …are you being serious? This is a completely different trigger 😂😂. Now we have a fully cocked striker. It wont be a 1911 trigger ever, but it certainly isnt the same design and geometry as a stock trigger.
@pjbiggleswerth8903 Жыл бұрын
@@jubjub905 the trigger bar is the exact same. That's where 90% of the problem is. The geometry of the shoe to bar to sear is a bunch of 90⁰ angles, you HAVE seen how they work right? Ok so u have a glock version of the timney drop in now. So? All that did was change how the sear interacts w the firing pin. But they didn't change LITERALLY ANYTHING in how the trigger bar engages the sear. U still push a big chunk of metal that's bent like 47 times halfway around the mag back up the gun to the disco.. u think u got a new trigger? U got a new sear. I could care less. I've got a g19 w a pyramid in it. Trash. Don't waste any more $$ on glocks. Sell all of them. Buy a staccato. You deserve some man ish.
