Thoughts on "Conversations With Friends" by Sally Rooney

I loved the first person narration of this book. We get such a deep look into Frances's psyche and her issues with dissociation and self hatred. Needless to say, I related a lot. The plot was secondary to the narrative style for me. The story itself is about two female friends who used to date each other. They meet an older couple, and the narrator begins an affair with the husband. I recommend it for a quick and thoughtful read!

I am so glad you also didn't like Bobbi. I immediately thought she was so insufferable and toxic and I was sooo hoping that would change, that she would have some kind of arc or growth, and I don't think she actually did??
