When Steve Spurrier went to the pro's, he made a big deal out of how silly it was that coaches slept in the offices and never left the building. He made it very clear he was NOT doing that. He thought force of personality would will the results that he wanted. Well, we see how that worked out. Deion Sanders is experiencing the exact same thing. I don't know about the culture or development at Colorado. I don't really know how well Deion handles the x's and o's. I do know he does not recruit. Just like Spurrier, unless he puts in the effort, he will not win at any kind of acceptable level. Not hating on Deion - stating fact. Same would be true for anyone else.

However, judging from HIS comments, he feels that when football goals were supposed to be the focus -for Colorado and Deion clicks were instead. That is what we are talking about. I am glad you ask.

Sorry, its not Cormani. Its not a blend. 1) Deion just lectured the whole team based on teacher complaints. Its more than Cormani. A significant proportion of the team is misbehaving. 2) Having multiple friends attend the Oregon game vs Colorado... everyone stated Deion did absolutely nothing when his players acted like thuggish jerks who insulted everyone, from fans, to players, to staff. They can trash talk, they can't play. Look it up. Its why Oregon was so fired up and literally decimated Colorado on that poorly coached Deion Sanders team. Lanning nailed it... Deion is all image (just for clicks) and offers zero coaching (player development). Expect another year of the Deion side show and watch it fade away when results are equally abysmal. This is the same coach that fired and blamed the only coaches that actually appeared elite. Brilliant!

As a UGA die hard fan I enjoy watching UC as well, and every school has kids entering the portal but when a kid is not doing his part that’s a problem for me. This particular kid has issues that he needs to address no matter where he goes if he doesn’t get it together it I’ll be the same!! It’s not about clicks!!Bless him!!🙏🏽🙏🏽

I want to start off by saying, I wish him the best. BUT! HE found out that D1 football isn't the same as High School football. Real dogs as coach PRIME say is at Colorado. And according to coach "PRIME" his work ethics is suspect. . When you line up with guys from around the country and sometimes from around the world, you realize maybe I'm not as good as I thought I was. And thats where hard work pays off. Whose the first in the GYM and the last to leave, whose spending the time studing instead of playing xbox or ps5. I want all of you young athletes heading to college to understand this (take this from a former pro baseball player for the Indians now Guardians organization Struggle, Professionalism, Integrity, Reliability, Accountability, and Determination. Cormani expects to get on the field because he's a 5 star. Prime was trying to teach the young man to be accountable. Hard work beat him to the field because he didn't work hard. So what if you're better than someone else, if you're not here sacrificing with the rest of us? Good riddance. He'll regret it in the long run. Somebody telling him NO for the first time in his life shattered whatever thoughts were going through his mind, he needs to find somewhere that'll kiss his ass. Coach Prime needs to be held accountable, especially for the Cormani situation. Let’s remember that this is about an introverted 19-year-old who seems to lack a male father figure to guide him. He left his comfort zone, traveling hundreds of miles because he believed he found that guidance in Coach Prime. Despite his physical attributes, it’s clear that the kid lacks the personal confidence usually fostered by a father figure. Being a head coach, Prime likely doesn't have the time or patience to provide that personal mentorship. Instead, there’s constant public criticism, and I'm 100 percent sure Cormani doesn't know how to handle constructive criticism. Not everyone is as prepared and polished as Travis Hunter.
