You mentioned it is 7000 gallons. According to the manual it is 8400 gallons at 90% which I assume is where the liner meets the top stitching. Were you guessing or did you get an accurate measurement?

Thanks for the video. Intex says not to use sand beneath the pool. It appears you used sand--has there been any issues
@RickBolt2 жыл бұрын
It is not really sand. It is a smaller gravel, I can’t remember the details. I have a wood barrier around mine so it won’t wash away. No issues after 3 years.

Did you use your own water to fill it? If so, how long did it take (assuming you used a standard garden hose)?

Yes it took a couple of days

It's Covid year and these pools are about 2 grand in August. I'm assuming that's because of the Covid pandemic. I got one anyway and as I type I'm at the point of filling it up. I'll be working on the pump today. So far I got about 3 feet of water in there. I'm using patio blocks in which are even all around for the most part. Oh, not really. So far I love the pool except for the ladder. I'm a tall 280 lb person and I have a little deck in mind, coming soon. I'll try to get back and give an update and even post a video of my set up experience for you all.
@RickBolt4 жыл бұрын
I agree, I don't like that ladder either. Was looking to get a new one this year, but have not yet.

Can you give me the actual distance from center of support to center side to side end to end .. I want to put it on a strip footing all the way around and I need to know if it is actually more than 24x12 to center of supports ??
@longdukdong4 жыл бұрын
Your pool is on concrete slab? Just ordered the 18x9x52 and will place the pool of top of the concrete. Foam boards first then the tarp that comes with the pool? Thanks for the pvc idea to hold the solar cover
@RickBolt4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Mine is on a compacted fine gravel base. I then put down a large tarp, foam board and then the tarp that came with the pool.

How does the pool hold up ?

Wrong time to be looking for one. Any of their distributors and themselves are out of stock. Maybe if they operated out of Texas they'd be open and selling right now. Im a pool skeptic myself but have broken down and agreed to get one. What research I have done....this seems to be the top brand but does that make it the top rated? How long should we expect the pool to last with normal maintenance? I heard that if you have a problem that its at your cost to ship something back to them even if it's a factory defect which would completely keep me from buying from them. Do you have any experience with their customer service?

sorry, never had to use their customer service yet. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the review. How many years do you think this can last?

Hello Rick great video. how far out do those bottom supports stick out? Would you say About a foot all around? I know they recommend 3 feet all around my wife wants me to squeeze a 20ft x 10ftx48 intex pool im into a 23.8ft x 12ft space.
@RickBolt4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. That is hard to say because the bottom curves in a bit. Mine are about a foot out. I think how level you get your ground will make a difference too.

about backwashing let it run longer than you think and remember to switch the medium out once in a while (the filter manual shut tell you when to switch it out depending on type of filter medium)

Hi, don't put the chlore tablets in there... put them in your skimmer; all the whitened plastic in your pool is because of the release of chlorine on the bottom.... and yes the patio wood under the legs is a real security issue here, it could collapse entirely. You should use 40x40x4 concrete blocks (in mm) 2020 update video would be cool ;)
@krismDK4 жыл бұрын
tha or a chlore foating dispenser thos works relly well too
@louisd957143 жыл бұрын
That is terrible advice! Chlorine tablets should never be placed in the skimmer.
@2Drezik3 жыл бұрын
@@louisd95714 at least use an argument for your statement 😂😂 My solution is a quick win over the classic dispensers. The best solution being making a custom dispenser where the chlorine doesn't fall thru the bottom. Your comment is quite 💩 honestly.

@2Drezik3 жыл бұрын
@@louisd95714 that article is plain dumb. Even the reason why not to use tablets in the skimmer is not right. That argument has absolutely no sense if your filter stays on for long periods of time. The only downside is actually the tablet getting disolved to fast by water friction. Please dont' come to War without a plan...and use your brain instead doing the parrot over whatever stupid article u read. 😉

How do you know where to put blocks under supports, and/or when do you put them down
@RickBolt4 жыл бұрын
If I could do it over again I would adjust the blocks out while I was filling the pool. When I filled mine the supports came out more as the pool water level filled up.
